DetailsThis is a functional hand-crafted SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) paddle made from Western Red Cedar and Poplar wood. The paddle blade is fiberglassed with epoxy resin to reinforce strength. If you’re not using it in the water, it can also be used for decorative purposes to add a nautical touch to your home or beach cottage.
The paddle face measures 9" wide and 14" long. Typical length of entire paddle and shaft is 76” as shown in photo, however custom lengths are possible and can vary depending on user height and reach. Before making the order, please contact me if custom length specifications are needed.
This paddle is made to order and because of wood variations and hand shaping, the actual paddle appearance may slightly differ from photo.
Please allow for a typical build time of about 3 weeks for glueing, shaping, sanding, cure times for epoxy fiberglass lamination, epoxy hot coat, epoxy gloss coat, and the finish coat of a water based urethane.
